Kim was the first staff member of Ken May Insurance in September 2004. Like many people in the insurance industry, her career in insurance happened by accident. A conversation with her old soccer coach, while finishing her finance degree at SDSU, turned into a job and career.
Kim quickly understood what it meant to be part of a small business and the different hats you have to wear on a daily basis. She earned her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2015, handles commercial insurance accounts, and manages the office.
She and her husband, Matt, live in Vista, CA, with their two sons, Luke and Ben. She has volunteered her time at her children’s school as part of PTA, School Site Council, and as a classroom volunteer. When not coaching the boys in baseball, she can be found enjoying concerts (country included), golfing, and visiting local wineries with her friends and family.
