Ken May, CISR

After graduating from the University of San Diego School of Business with Departmental Honors in 1981, Ken started his insurance career in 1982 when he purchased Frank Insurance Agency in Oceanside. After revitalizing and building the agency, He moved to the company side in 1999 with a start-up insurance management company based in Fort Worth, Texas.

Ken came back to his roots in 2003 by moving back to San Diego and starting Ken May Insurance Services.

Believing that one should give back, in 1985 Ken became a member of the board of directors for the American Agents Alliance, a trade group dedicated to helping independent insurance agents throughout California. Except for the brief time in Texas, Ken is still an officer on the board as the Immediate Past President after serving nine consecutive terms as president.

Ken currently holds a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) professional designation which he earned in May 2016.

Ken is married with three grown children and two beautiful granddaughters, Peyton and Paisley.
